I have found it so interesting to see the condemnation and admonishment of Tiger Woods by the media and public. I’ll concede the fact that he has made a billion endorsement dollars off of an image that he has not lived up to, but it’s hard to feel sorry for the companies, who I assure you have their own moral issues, that paid Tiger the money. Tiger, Taylor, and those New York fans This year’s US Open was unique to the last two I have attended. THIS YEAR AT AUGUSTA was a wonderful experience, but the thing that stood out to me as the one thing I will always remember was walking out onto the range on Tuesday, where I was to meet Sean O’Hair, and seeing that there were only three players on the range and the oldest was a mere 19 years. No More Cheers at the Majors
The PGA Championship was played on the most difficult golf course I have ever seen. I have played many and in the last two years on tour walked even more. I have only missed one major in two years, and watched them all on television for the last 20 years. The roars are gone from amen corner at the Masters, and this year I was working with three players at the PGA Championship and hardly heard an ovation. People just don’t clap or scream for pars... The Disparity on the Nationwide Tour
I have traveled this continent working with many of my players at different events. During this period, I have observed many great players, blind dreamers, and loyal grinders who are all an inch away from pure mental and financial struggle.
