Ask Sean Casey
Sean Casey was this year’s recipient of the Ontario PGA’s ‘Teacher of the Year‘ Award.
Sean is the Head Teaching Professional at the ClubLink Academy at Glen Abbey. He oversees the successful ELITE Jr. Development program and is also the national team coach for the Canadian Junior Golf Association. Sean has been the featured instructor for numerous publications (including GolfScene) and also hosts and produces Golf Talk Live, a local golf instructional TV show.
Sean joined the Canadian PGA in 1998 while attending the University of New Brunswick’s Business Administration Program. In 2001, Sean became a Class A Member of the Canadian PGA and joined the ClubLink Academy at Glen Abbey.
Sean’s book, Casey’s Golf Tips, is a must have playing companions for those looking for simple, clear, and concise instructions on the fundamentals.

Sean–when swinging any club, what % of a total (hard) swing should one be using- eg. if 10 is the max. , should I be swinging at a 7?

Sean’s feature was for a month and unfortunately has expired. That is a very good question though. We are doing a feature this season with a panel of Pros (experts) so perhaps we’ll get it answered then.
