Karl Morris will be giving two mental game improvement seminars – one at Lionhead Golf and Country Club in Brampton on May 18 and a second at Deer Creek Golf & Banquet Facility in Ajax on May 19 that are open to everyone interested in improving their game. Morris’ teachings are for everyone of all skill levels! His common sense approach to efficient / effective practice and playing may just change the way you think and feel about your game!

From the competitive world of golf, he has worked with players including; Darren Clarke, David Howell, Lee Westwood, Paul McGinley, Graeme McDowell, Richard Finch, Phil Archer Alison Nicholas and Trish Johnson. As a consultant to the PGA of Great Britain and Europe, Morris has presented seminars all over the world to the Australian PGA, South African PGA, German PGA, Swedish PGA, Dutch PGA, Belgian PGA and the Hong Kong Golf Association.
“Karl and I have worked together and I continue to use his principles and techniques on a daily basis to help my game. Last year was a great year with two wins,” says Graeme McDowell.
In Canada, Morris has been working with veteran Canadian PGA member Danny King, Director of Instruction at Magna Golf Club for over six years. “Karl has been so effective in changing the way I approach my game that Jeff Boismier, fellow PGA member and good friend, thought we should bring him to Canada so he can share his knowledge with others”. Boismier who worked at Magna GC with King in 2009 says “Karl is a student of the mind and he will change the way people think and feel about their game. He has a common sense approach, along with some simple yet efficient / effective means of playing and practicing.”
King, who has three provincial and two national titles under his belt, believes the mind plays such a significant role in the game and sees it as an absolute necessity of you’re going to take your game to the next level regardless of handicap.
“People will love his program ‘Lower your score by 5 shots WITHOUT changing your swing,” King says.
From the teaching world, Morris’ is also widely respected by one of Canada’s foremost golf instructors, Henry Brunton. “Karl Morris is one of the leading mind coaches in the world. I am a big fan of his work. I look forward to the opportunity to attend his seminar in Toronto and learn from him first hand,” Brunton says who is one of GOLF Magazines Top 100 instructor in North America.
Morris is the author of the popular CD series ‘Train Your Golf Brain’ , ‘Train Your Putting Brain’ and the recently published ‘Golf – The Mind Factor’ with Darren Clarke.
There is limited seating for both shows that run from 7 to 9 p.m. on both May 18 at Lionhead G&CC and May 19 at Deer Creek. Tickets cost $99 plus GST in advance or $125 plus GST at the door on the day of the event.
