Renovation Season
Well, we decided it was time to update the decor at golfscene.ca and indulge in a few website renovations. The look is a little different and the content a little more robust as in its new format we will be better equipped to offer and maintain information in a manner that is more dynamic and accessible - functionality and future scalability were key factors in the redesign.
- much of our eNews content (back until July 2008) is archived and available — as will all eNews content going forward
- our Ontario PGA Pro Tips are also available (February 2008 forward) — these are scrollable via the featured image gallery on the home page (use the large arrows) or via clicking on the Pro Tip menu
- we now have a video component to build upon (check out the video of our Myrtle Beach contest winners) — stay tuned for video blogs and some cool interactive elements
- looking for something in particular? — use the new search feature, or click on a few of the highlights in the Find Stuff tag finder
- we’re also going to begin to offer up some of the Magazine content online in either its entirety or excerpt formats
- we’ve posted a little bit of information on past contests and will be announcing our next exciting contest very, very soon
IN THE WORKS
- additional content partnerships = more great golf information
- changes to the Directory and additional functionality (even better ways to access course info and book that next tee time)
- check back often as we are just beginning …
Note: for anyone still using Internet Explorer 6 (it is over 7 years old now), we are working on a few fixes as this site may not translate properly — should all be inline within the next couple of weeks. For all internet usage it is recommended that browsers be updated to the most current version as to address security issues in addition to functionality.
