Canada – It’s in the Game
Electronic Arts recently launched Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 11 in North America. The Tiger Woods PGA TOUR franchise continues its innovation legacy in motion control with support for the all-new PlayStation® Move controller, while the Wii™ version features an authentic way to hit the links with True View – via a first person camera angle. The game is available on the big three gaming consoles Xbox 360® PlayStation 3 Wii™ and even the iPhone™.
The newest edition also features a few Canadian options / angles with the ability to choose Toronto based Quagmire Golf as one of your character’s clothing options. There is also the option to download and play the Banff Springs Golf Course which is available as an add-on.
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 on the Wii brings the links to the living room with two all-new enhanced swing mechanics utilizing the Wii MotionPlus™ accessory. The Advanced Plus swing mechanic will read rotation and swing angle, while the Tour Pro swing mechanic assesses rotation, swing plane and point of contact – creating a one-to-one authentic sports motion experience.
Players can then take their newly developed golf skills online and engage in team play matches or hit the virtual links with online disc golf featuring all 28 in-game courses. Take a break from the fairways and enjoy the fun with the all-new Mini-Golf mode on one of four original and unique miniature golf courses.

Editor’s Note: We have not had the chance to actually play the game yet, but if we can wear Quag and tee it up in Banff then it may just be time to update the old PS2 and or fire up the Wii. Also appears that you have the option (may have to garner points) to choose the make and model of your clubs as well. Better reality is ‘virtually’ here.
