First let us say thanks to all who participated in GolfScene’s inaugural Ultimate Bag Tag Contest. And to all of our readers who sent in their positive comments, emails, etc with respect to the ‘process‘ and the prize – our guess is, due to the response, we’ll be doing this again next year. 10 questions, 10 weeks for a chance at 20 complimentary rounds was indeed a great way to kick-start the 2010 season. Once again, a special thanks to all of our participating courses (could not have made this happen without them) and to the National Golf Course Owners Association for adding a few bonus prizes in addition to the Grand Prize of the Ultimate Bag Tag.
Enough with the slow play, congratulations to …

Pamela’s Response:
THIS IS SO EXCITING! I CAN’T BELIEVE I WON!
My husband is thrilled too.
For her efforts, Pamela will be receiving passes for 2 complimentary rounds at each of our 10 participating courses! And as an added bonus, the kind folks at Kaneff Golf have included an additional 2 passes for the round(s) at Royal Niagara making it a complimentary 4some. Enjoy.
AND
In addition we have 3 winners of the 2010 Golfer’s Red Book courtesy of the NGCOA. These individuals also answered all 10 questions correctly and will be rewarded with some great savings on area green fees.

Thank you very much for the prize. The Ultimate Bag Tag would have been phenomenal to win but a runner up prize is always good. I enjoyed the contest and learned a bit about a few golf courses that I had not heard of before. Thanks for the great contest.

Congratulations to Pam and thanks for selecting me as a runner-up. Just wondering if I got all the answers right to the questions? Maybe you can let me know. Once again, the contest was fun and a pleasant surprise to win. Thank you very much, Mike.

Why in the name of the golf gods would you publish the answers without the questions. Which employee thought that would be clever.
So for us folks that are just discovering your site , we get to read a list of 10 answers and then must try to figure out what the question would have been. Not a clever move , and I hope this INTERN will be corrected before they are put on the pay roll.
Very dissapointing.
Milt.
appreciate the advice Milt – the questions (to which you are referring) were posted weekly during the contest which has since closed – answers were really only posted for those who participated during the contest
