MAGAZINE

The magazine currently provides coverage to over 340 area courses, ranges, and retail outlets. It is published 3x per season and has a readership in excess of 60,000. The fact that it is both regional (geo-targeted) and content specific make it the ideal vehicle for ‘communicating’ directly with the influential southern Ontario golf market.

NEW IN 2012:

  • Changes to the Golf Course Directory.  Easier means for golf courses to maximize exposure across all of our media.  Mass market push with direct market pull – the perfect connection for golf course to golfer.  We’re calling it the PLACES TO PLAY package – contact us for the details.
  • New section – THE BACK SHOP:  The ideal marketplace to showcase your product or service.  Space includes image and copy space – no need to create a specialized AD – to spec – to size – etc.  We just made it easy to connect to golfers.
  • small changes to size / mechanical specs – just a nip and tuck to be more compatible with standardized agency specs

ENEWS

GolfScene’s eNews is published monthly and goes out to an email database in excess of 10,000 subscribers. This highly targeted medium offers the benefit of timeliness as well as interactivity.

NEW IN 2012:

  • changes to both the provider and format will allow us to be more precise with our target demographics and go out more often (reader requests) during the golf season

WEB

The newest iteration of golfscene.ca employs a new cleaner look with a focus on readability.  In addition it is a RESPONSIVE DESIGN (means it will scale / work on all screen sizes and devices – go ahead and change your screen size, you can see how it works).  More great content – wherever or on whatever device you choose.  Our Places to Play microsite will also see some changes as we continue to roll out the upgrades.

NEW IN 2012:

  • Responsive design.  Content will scale to whatever screen size or mobile device it is being viewed on.  No need for third-party apps.  Readers are not required to download anything.
  • More content from more sources.
  • New categories.  A gallery section (Coming Very Soon).  A style section.
  • additional social media access – a Facebook wall / instagram images / and more
